Hey Diva Dog, what’s that you’re eating? It smells good. Can I try some?
Hey, this stuff is good! You don’t mind if I have some, do you? There’s enough in that bowl to share, right?
Do you mind? I’m trying to eat here. Could you step back and give me some space?
Let me help you finish that off. I wouldn’t want you to get indigestion from eating all that by yourself. No need to thank me, Diva Dog. What are friends for, after all?
Psst. Tomorrow, same time, same place?

That is one brave (crazy?) kitty! I mean, isn't there some conventional wisdom about never getting between a dog and her food?! I know DD is a gentle soul, but man. That's a risk taker of a feline for sure. Hilarious!
How cute. Diva dog sure seems very patient with that cute kitty!
Confession time. Most of the time I really, really dislike shepherds/huskies and similar dogs, but I love Diva Dog based just on this post. What a sweetheart.
Ooh! Total critter cuteness
Ha!!! Our three indoor cats will only drink out of Shiloh's water bowl, never their own. But when it comes to food, she's after the cat food rather than vice-versa! Wishing all of you a very fulfilling and joyous 2010!!!
So sweet. What a cozy group of critters- and luv your new additions!
Happy new year, Wenches!
That's too cute! Our cats would never eat out of the dog dish at the same time as them. They do like to eat the dogs' food though when they aren't anywhere nearby.
Cute critters. Happy New Year to you and your brood!
Sweet! Congratulations on your expanded family. I enjoyed the earlier photos you posted of them too. Best wishes for the new year!
Happy New Year girls!
Aren't you lucky to have a couple of new furbabies! They're so cute! I love all the pics, especially that first one of Mugsy in the previous post :) Diva Dog is being so generous with her food and favorite napping places. What a dear doggy :)
Kitten pics, and D Dog of course, will be just fine while your garden sleeps, thank you.
Stay warm over there! It's snowy and frigid here in the east. Brrrr!
Diva Dog is so wonderfully tolerant. What a sweetheart!
Hope you had a wonderful holiday Mss. Wenches! Cheers to a happy, healthy New Year!
Aw, so cute!
OK, so where are the gardening posts??? Have you actually been inside the past couple of weeks while I have been out working in the gardens on these fabulous sunny afternoons?? (OK, maybe not today) I've been moving things around and doing lots of brush cutting/piling (dang Scottish Broom!) Daffodils and Hyacinths are coming up, Heater is in bloom as is Mahonia. I can't believe it is January!!
It is nice to see some peaceful harmony in the animal kingdom, with the cat checking out your dog's food.
