A Pennsylvania Dutch Christmas

The Wenches can't make it back east for the holidays this year, but we received a very special card reminding us of home.

That's a keeper for your card collection! Thanks for sharing.
How are you faring in this last blast? It's like the snow has a perfect frosting of hard icing now! I do hope this does in a few slugs and bugs in the garden.
Keep warm.

We did get more than a few giggles out of this one, Zoë.

Have a very merry Nancy!

We've gotten quite a few unique cards so far this season, Gail. But this one is our favorite.

Ho, ho, ho to you too MN Garden.

I'll have to ask Wing Nut about the swearing thing. Her family is the one with the PA Dutch heritage--not Amish though.

Greetings Petunia's Gardener. We're managing down here in Ballard. Our cover crop is under cover! The pots on our patio look like giant cupcakes with white icing! We didn't get to water before the cold set in so we've probably lost quite a few things. But sure won't miss whatever slugs we've lost. Stay warm.

Thought you all would appreciate it, OFB. I 've used an outhouse and an outdoor shower in upstate NY in below zero temps. I'm all for indoor bathrooms!
