And into the snow!!!
Okay, so it's not a lot of snow.
It's just enough to romp around in...
and to cover the flowering rosemary.
Most winters here we wear rain gear, so the parkas and Sorel boots hardly ever come out of the closet. But this week, we're in for some very chilly temps in Seattle (daytime high 20F/-7C, evening low 11F/-12C). It's a good thing we kept all our heavy winter gear from our time in the Midwest!

A little snow is good for the soul ! .. if you lived here .. well, by February you might go stark raving mad .. this condition is "Cabin Fever" and the moose milk might have to come out again to get me through it all ! LOL

Hi Wenches, that is exciting, the snow and the gear look so cute on the chairs. Do be careful with any driving you do though! Your doggie was making dog angels, or are they shepherds? :-)

Snow shepherds! I like that Frances. She just loves the snow. No driving for us anytime soon--we're without wheels.
Hi, Grrls! Isn't it thrilling? We got the tail end of what you got down here. I looked out the window early this morning and saw soft large flakes gently gliding to the ground. How exciting! I ran outside with the Border Collies and laughed my head off! ENJOY!
Snow can be so much fun, especially when you don't normally get it!
It really is thrilling, Kathryn. And it's still white out there today, thanks to those chilly temps. This is the longest snow has stuck around on the ground. Usually it's gone in a matter of hours.
We felt like kids, Libby. And Diva Dog was just prancing and racing as if she were a puppy.
How fun!

Actually, you have more snow right now than we do in Illinois! Diva Dog looks like she is enjoying it, though. Reminds me of our late Roco, who was part Husky and loved to play in the snow. Stay warm!
Even a light sprinkling makes such a difference. It looks like Diva dog had a wonderful time playing in the snow.

Seattle has more snow than Illinois! That's amazing Rose. Usually it just melts within a few hours here. But the temps are so cold that it's not going anywhere.
She did indeed, Yolanda. Snow brings out the puppy in her--she turned 10 this past week.
Funny post about the snow. We didn't get snow. We got freezing drizzle. It was lovely while driving this a.m.~~Dee
Dee that sounds very trecherous! Yikes! We're due for 2-4 inches here today. Public schools closed before the first snowflake fell.
Reading though your recent posts made me think of a student who was to fly to the west coast last Friday. Wonder if he had a window of opportunity to fly into Seattle???
Hope things get back to "normal" soon. I once lived in Eugene and when it snowed the city just shut down. It only happened once in the three years I was there
