How are you all adjusting to having one less member of the menagerie? It must be so strange for everyone. That picture is so cute - the Peaceable Kingdom!

Ah Bless, lovely shot.

Diva dog makes me want to diversify! Looks like she would get along well with the cats over here.

Can we add that to some future bloggers meet-up: Critters welcome?

Hi Philip! Doesn't it just make you go "aaawww shucks"?

Hi Karen! Luna is much missed...but I have to admit that the Kingdom is much more Peaceable. Sigh... I do think Snuggle Bug--the little black one--really really misses Luna.

Thanks Karen! These two love to snuggle together.

I think critters at a future garden bloggers meet-up is a great idea PG! Diva Dog and White Socks seem to understand each other perfectly. Sometimes WS goes over to where DD is sleeping and she makes this little chirping noise. And just like that, it's the Indianapolis 500 in our apartment!

That is such an adorable picture .. and the "cheek to cheek" description is spot on ! LOL
I love seeing cats and dogs actually liking ? each other enought to sleep together ( it doesn't mean they are "easy" though wink wink) LOL

It's a hard life!
I notice Diva dog is still alert while White Socks has forsaken all responsibilities and has fallen unconscious :-)

Hi GardenGoy! White Socks and Diva Dog spend quite a bit of time together. They sleep and chase and just hang out.

Thanks Aunt Debbi. They are so cute together.

Yes, easygerdener, animals have it very hard at our house. Not! White Socks is our night watch kitty. She spends the whole night awake guarding against intruders of the 2 or 4 foot kind. She catches her sleep during the day when the dog is vigilantly keeping watch. They work well together.

I love seeing dogs on a couch - they just fit so perfectly on them! My cat and three dogs are often found curled up on the bed together - I just love it. (And a piece of that cake in a prior post would be nice - that looks really good!)
